1) Nucleus Budget Scheme

Under the scheme, financial assistance is being provided to the poor minority patients to bear the cost of medicine etc. An amount of RS. 2,500/ within the State and Rs.5000/- outside State are being Sanctioned. In exceptional cases state Govt may sanction up to Rs. 8000/- for referred cases.

2) Settlement Scheme for Landless

Under the Scheme the Minority Families who are landless workers are being provided grants @ Rs. 50,000/- . The eligible beneficiaries are getting benefit of the scheme through their concerned Sub-Divisional Magistrates.

3) Developement of Minority Group Village Scheme

Under the Scheme the poor Minority Families are being provided grants @ Rs. 10,000/- for setting up small business, Goatery Scheme, purchasing of milching cow etc.

4) Special Plan Asistance (SPA)

Under this scheme this department had received an amount of 135.00 lakhs for construction of State Haj House. But construction of State Haj House could not be started so entire fund had been transferred for construction of Nazrul Chatrabash at Agartala. Construction work of Najrul Chatrabash likely to be completed by the end of May, 2013.

5) Construction of Nazrul Chatrabash

3rd floor construction work of Nazrul Chatrabash is going on in full swing. Rs. 495.03 lakhs out of 561 lakhs already been placed to the implementing Agency (PWD Department).

6) Special Central Asistance (SCA)

Under this scheme this department had received an amount of 88.69 lakhs during 2012-13 . Entire amount have been placed to the below mentioned implementing Agencies. Most of the work already been completed.

7) Acievement of Comprehensive Action Plan for Developement of Minority Dominated Villages Under State Fund

In order to bring the areas dominated by minority populations under development programme and expedite the process of development, 124 villages and 27 wards have been identified. The Minority Welfare department and other department have been implementing various development schemes for development of educational infrastructure, economic development, construction of road, extension of electricity lines, Drinking water and irrigation facilities, construction of health centers, protection of WAKF property etc. Achieve up to 2012-13 is as follows: -
